Index of forbidden TV Shows?

A rather enjoyable rant against the godless, if fictional, Cleaver family from my intemperate friend Mr. Carriere yesterday evening. CLICK HERE.

I appreciate the link, Mr. Curmudgeon. One is never sure, when one posts crazy things, how they will be received.

Yet, I'm still not sure what to make of Carriere;s scholastic exercise on the morality of drinking of Protestant Irish whiskey. Although one would, of course, prefer hard earned Catholic whiskeys, an argument against the theiving, oppressive Ulster variety could then applied across the North Channel to Scotland, where all whisky is heretical, and as one who prefers Scotch to Irish or Bourbon, I may not like the conclusion.

You've got to take these things into account, Anonymous, or you'll end up with bad theology and bad drink. Then you might as well be a Canadian bishop with a bottle of horrible C.C.

Now that you (Mr. Carriere) mention it, by golly, I think you are onto something regading the Cleavers - two children, no church, all explained by "natural" consequences! I know some people will think you are a crackpot - but they are generally the same people who have bought the lie of the Cleavers.
