Over at De Civitate Dei, Rick Lugari has posted a nice tribute to General Franco. I'm not much up on 20th Century Spanish politics, but maybe I'll look into it. I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Franco, but didn't know enough about him to really feel comfortable publicizing my non-PC affinity for the Generalissimo and using it to offend people. Maybe I'll take the time to study up on him. I can't count the number of people who'd go nuts if I put a portriate of Franco in my office. Oh what fun!
What's a good, well written book about Franco--written (in English) for the average educated reader?
