Just so the folks at The Wanderer know, and aren't tempted to paste almost my whole post into their newpaper, write a few paragraphs of introduction, and call it a news article, the work in this blog is Copyright 2006 by ME. If you want to use this in your newspaper, like you used my friend Ian's work on Nobis Quoque a few weeks ago, you need to send me a check for it, and you need to include the parts where I'm critical of Mr. Likoudis as well. Email me if you're interested.
Ah, it's nice to be back to a good internet connection--yesterday and this morning I was out in the countryside, where the digital satellite broadband connection was exceptionally slow due to heavy cloud cover. Now I'll go back and fix some typos, and provide links Mr. Heiner's work....
Well, that worked.
ReplyDeleteWhat do you mean? I don't have my copy yet. I assume it means I'm not in the Wanderer. I haven't gotten a check
ReplyDeleteYour blog is extensively quoted in the latest Wanderer.
ReplyDeleteGot my Wanderer today, and I see that. Man, that Likoudis guy needs to make some calls and interview people and not just read blogs for his reporting.
ReplyDeleteHowever, I've got no complaints; he only quoted a couple of paragraphs that I wrote, mostly focusing on the comments that followed.
I'll let it pass. I was mostly concerned about them using my bit on Bp. Tissier de Mallerais to no good end. As for the National Catholic Reporter, that's all fine; we've a common enemy there. After all, Likoudis has given Mrs. Curmudgeon the distinction of being married to a man who was quoted as suggesting people be burned at the stake in a Catholic periodical of national circulation. That's worth a few laughs at cocktail parties if I ever give up my anonymity, isn't it? More to follow in a new post.
