WASHINGTON - A Democrat who plans to vote against Samuel Alito sided on Sunday with a Republican colleague on the Senate Judiciary Committee in cautioning against a filibuster of the Supreme Court nominee."I do not see a likelihood of a filibuster," said Sen. Dianne Feinstein (news, bio, voting record), D-Calif. "This might be a man I disagree with, but it doesn't mean he shouldn't be on the court."
Wow. I don't often comment on current events or politics, because it doesn't really matter. Nothing will change about our illegitimate and corrupt federal government through day-to-day politicking. A true counter-revolution, in some form or another, is the only real hope. We may not involve masses of men in blue bonnets with white cockades (sigh), but something out-of-the-ordinary has to happen.
Anyways, I digress. I'm noting this article because it's nice to see lefties being complacent and giving up. The 1960s are a longtime gone, eh? It's hard to fight to the death on something, when you have no first principles, and no hope of life thereafter.
Isn't it Dianne?
